Helen joined us in April 2015 after spending a number of years practising in New Zealand and overseas as a patent attorney specialising in chemical and pharmaceutical patent law. Helen has a law degree from Victoria University and a doctorate in chemistry from the University of Auckland, and is a registered New Zealand patent attorney. She was admitted to the bar in 2015. Helen now works in all areas of general practice and also retains a strong interest in intellectual property law. Helen is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys.

Leah joined us in September 2015 after returning from 2 ½ years in London. She has a law degree from the University of Otago and was admitted to the bar in 2008. Leah practiced law in Wellington for 5 years, initially in all areas of general practice and then with a focus on property and construction law . Leah now works in all areas of general practice. Leah is currently on maternity leave.

Kylie joined Gawith Burridge in August 2017.
Attracted to law since starting as a legal secretary in 1993, she commenced her law studies in 2003 whilst also undertaking a five year articled clerkship with a large law firm on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
Kylie then took a career break to focus on her young family and returned to New Zealand. She was admitted to the bar under the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition scheme in 2017.
Kylie continues to have a special interest in estate administration but enjoys all areas of general practice.

After graduating in 1998, Tim began his career as a tax consultant before branching out into corporate/commercial law and then general practice. He joined the firm in 2018 after 13 years teaching law and business courses in the deep south.

Christin joined Gawith Burridge in September 2018. She graduated from Victoria University in 2015 and managed to successfully obtain her degree part-time whilst simultaneously working in a Wairarapa family law practice. Since her admission to the Bar, Christin has predominantly worked in property law. At Gawith Burridge she will continue to work in all areas of law with a focus on conveyancing. Christin is bilingual in English and German.

Originally from the Manawatu, he moved to the Wairarapa in 2010, where his wife has strong family connections. Nick looks forward to working in all areas of general practice but has a particular interest in employment law and health and safety.

Nicki joined Gawith Burridge in October 2019. She graduated from Victoria University with an LLB and BA (Criminology). She lives with her young family in rural Martinborough, where they run farming and agricultural businesses. Nicki works in all areas of general practice with a focus on elder law.

Alice initially joined Gawith Burridge in March 2013 as a Personal Assistant. She then went on to complete a Diploma in Legal Executive Studies and is now a Registered Legal Executive. Alice works in all areas of general practice but has a focus on estate administration.

Lauren-Beth completed a Diploma in Legal Executive studies in 2011, while working for an intellectual property law firm in Wellington. After taking a career break to start a family, LB worked as a Legal Executive on the Kapiti Coast for 2 years before moving to the Wairarapa with her family to join Gawith Burridge in 2020. LB has a particular interest in estate administration.

Maria joined GB in 2020 and completed her Legal Executive Diploma in 2010.  She has a keen interest in all property related matters, and works in all areas of general practice with predominant focus on property law.  Maria has worked in law firms in Christchurch and Wellington and within the telecommunications sector.

Marta graduated from Otago University in 2004 with a law and history degree. Shortly after graduating, she went on her OE, which lasted almost 12 years. The majority of that time was spent in London where Marta worked in various roles and industries. Jeremy has recently joined Gawith Burridge in 2020. After graduating in 2010, he started his career at Chapman Tripp. Before moving to Carterton with his wife and young daughter, he worked in-house roles at Weta Workshop and NZ Post. Jeremy is a generalist, with experience in property, employment, IP and commercial law. He is currently finishing his Masters degree in law.

Sue has spent most of her career in London involved in investment banking where she worked in various roles in the middle and back office. Her most recent role was Office Manager for Dry River Wines.
