Gawith Burridge is a law firm whose origin is part
of the history of Wairarapa. In 1998 Gawith & Co and Burridge
& Co merged to form our current firm. Gawith & Co
itself was established in 1987 from a merger of several
Masterton
firms.
Charles Gawith started his practice in 1875
and the firm Burridge & Co was founded in 1876 by Arthur
Bunny.
Since that time society has experienced enormous
changes. The merger of the firms gives our current firm a
greater breadth of expertise to cope with the growing complexities
of the law but, at the same time, retaining the ability to
maintain individual contact with our clients.
Our aim is to provide a service to clients
that covers all facets of the law. We are able to provide
a comprehensive range of legal services. Further, because
of our contacts with other lawyers in other areas, particularly
through our membership of the nationwide NZ Law Group, we
can provide access to specialist advice as and when required.
Details of partners and executive staff are
available on our Our People page.
Following are a number of comments which
